تهديكم اللجنة المنظمة لمظاهرات ثورة تشرين اطيب تحياتها وتود احاطتكم بأن العراق، موطن المقدسات وعاصمته بغداد مدينة السلام، يرحب بكم لانكم تمثلون رسالة سلام سماوية.
قداسة البابا
إن العراقيين بكل أديانهم ومذاهبهم وقومياتهم يتساءلون ان كان توقيت زيارة قداستكم الى العراق مناسبا، فلابد أنكم على علم بما يجري فيه منذ عام 2003 ولحد الان من قتل وارهاب وسفك دماء وتهجير وفساد مالي وإغتصاب املاك المواطنين واعتداء على دور العبادة، المساجد والكنائس، من قبل أجهزة قمع حكومة بغداد والميليشيات المنفلتة.
قد تكون الدوافع الظاهرية لزيارتكم دينية٫ قداسة البابا الا أن مراقبين يرونها غير ذلك، لاسيما وانتم تعلمون بأن السيد المسيح عليه السلام قد حرم القتل ودوافعه مثلما حرم الظلم واغتصاب الحقوق كما ورد في الكتاب المقدس “ان رأيت ظلم الفقير ونزع الحق والعدل في البلاد، فلا ترتع من الامر، فان فوق العالي عاليا يلاحظ، والأعلى فوقهما” (سفر الجامعة 8:5).
يرى الكثيرون، قداسة البابا أن وضع يد قداستكم بيد قتلة أكثر من 800 شهيد وجرح اكثر من 30،000 جريح ومعوق من الشبان العراقيين من كل الأديان والقوميات هو صفح منك عن تلك الجرائم وهذا سيكون خطأ تاريخيا قد لا يغفره لكم العراقيون وكل المنصفين في هذا العالم.

ان للسيد المسيح (عليه السلام) لدى جميع العراقيين قيمة عالية، فقد امضى عليه السلام كل مراحل حياته بين الناس في الجهاد والصمود امام الظلم والعدوان والفساد ومواجهة الفرعنة والطغيان. وكان تلاميذه الأوائل يأتون الى العراق اولا، فهل سيكون مقبولا لقداستكم اعطاء شرعية للحكام المستبدين على حساب معاناة العراقيين
في الختام ترجو اللجنة من قداستكم ان تنظروا بعين المسيح (عليه السلام) لما يجري في العراق وفاء لدينكم وللانسانية.

The Organizing Committee of the Demonstrations for October Revolution presents its best regards and wishes to inform that Iraq, the homeland of holy sites and its capital Baghdad, the city of peace, welcomes you because you represent a heavenly message of peace.
Your Holiness,
Iraqis, with all their religions, sects and ethnic groups, are wondering if the timing of Your Holiness’s visit to Iraq is appropriate. So you must be aware of what has been going on since 2003 until now of killing, terror, bloodshed, displacement, financial corruption, usurpation of citizens properties, attacks on worship’s houses, Mosques and Churches, by Suppression Agencies of the Baghdad Government and their Criminal Militias.
The outward motives for your visit may be religious, Your Holiness, but observers see it otherwise, especially as you know that Jesus, peace be upon him, forbade injustice and its motives just as he forbade killings, injustice and usurpation of peoples rights, as stated in the Bible. “If you see in a province the oppression of the poor and the violation of justice and righteousness, do not be amazed at the matter, for the high official is watched by a higher, and there are yet higher ones over them.”(Ecclesiastes 5:8).
Many see, Your Holiness, that shaking hands with murderers of more than 800 martyrs and more than 30,000 wounded and disabled young Iraqis from all religions and ethnic groups as a forgiveness for these crimes and this will be a historical mistake that the Iraqis and all fair people in this world may not forgive.

All Iraqis look to Jesus (peace be upon him) with high value. He, (peace be upon him), spent all his life among people struggling and steadfasting in the face of injustice, aggression, corruption and confronting pharaoh like and tyrannies. His students came to Iraq first, so would it be acceptable for your sanctity to give legitimacy to tyrannical rulers at the expense of the suffering of Iraqis?
In conclusion, the Organising Committee requests Your Holiness to look with the eye of Christ (peace be upon him) into what is happening in Iraq, in fulfillment of your principals of your religion and the principals of humanity.
