وجه قطاع الأحوال المدنية بتمكين المصريين المقيمين بالخارج الراغبين فى إثبات محل الإقامة ببطاقة الرقم القومى الخاصة بهم داخل مصر، بأن يرسل تفويضاً موثقاً من بعثاتنا القنصلية بالخارج لأحد أقاربه حتى الدرجة الرابعة، لإثبات محل إقامته على عنوان أحد أقاربه بإقراره بأنه مقيم طرفه.
ويتم إثبات محل الإقامة المثبت ببطاقة الرقم القومى للضامن مع استمرار إيفاد مأموريات من قطاع الأحوال المدنية للبعثات القنصلية بالخارج، لتصوير المواطنين الراغبين فى استخراج بطاقة الرقم القومي.. يأتى ذلك فى إطار حرص اللواء محمود توفيق وزير الداخلية على تطوير وتيسير جميع الخدمات الشرطية المقدمة للمواطنين المصريين المقيمين بالخارج لاستخراج الأوراق الثبوتية لهم.
The Civil Status Sector of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior has issued instructions to enable Egyptian expatriates, who wish to confirm their domicile via their own National Identification Cards in Egypt, to send an official authorization documented by our consular missions abroad, to one of their relatives up to fourth degree.
The Civil Status Sector shall continue to dispatch teams to our consular missions abroad to facilitate the issuance of national identification cards for the Egyptian community abroad. This comes as General Mahmoud Tawfik, the Minister of Interior, is keen on upgrading and facilitating all police services offered to the Egyptian expatriates to help them issue their ID papers.
